One Call Stadium visited in 92 ground tour

15 October 2018

Mansfield Town welcomed James Whaley and the mascots of Lincoln City and Grimsby Town to One Call Stadium on Thursday evening, during the trio's successful attempt to visit 92 League grounds in 92 hours to raise funds for 11-year-old Demi Knight.

Demi, from Lincolnshire, has a medulloblastoma brain tumour which, after chemotherapy, radiation therapy, a major brain operation and other treatments, sadly returned one year after treatment ceased.

The trio were successful in their attempt to visit all 92 EFL and Premier League clubs in 92 hours, and have raised around £25,000 for Demi's treatment so far.

We were the 87th club to be visited, with the three arriving at One Call Stadium at around 8.30pm last Thursday evening.

Mansfield were pleased to be able to support their challenge, and offered a signed shirt to be auctioned at a later date, with all proceeds made to be given in support of Demi.
