Match preview: Stags vs Crawley Town

27 November 2018

Stags welcome Crawley Town to One Call Stadium on Tuesday evening for our next Sky Bet League Two clash (7.45pm kick-off). Here’s all you need to know ahead of the clash…

Defender Hayden White may miss the clash after being withdrawn from the line-up on Saturday following a tight hamstring sustained in the warm-up.

Winger CJ Hamilton, who played through the Lincoln game with tonsillitis, is a doubt.

Midfielders Jacob Mellis and Neal Bishop are also classed as doubtful.

Crawley have just one absentee for Tuesday’s match, as they will be without midfielder Jimmy Smith.

Stags stretched their unbeaten run in Sky Bet League Two to 12 games at the weekend, following Jacob Mellis’ dramatic late equaliser against Lincoln at Sincil Bank. Mansfield sit fourth in the table heading into Tuesday’s clash, below third-placed Colchester on goal difference.

Crawley recorded an emphatic 3-0 victory over Crewe in their last fixture, propelling them to 12th in the table. The resounding victory came after a winless streak of seven games in all competitions.

The last time Mr. Salisbury took charge of a Stags’ fixture was in August of this season, our 1-1 draw against Colchester United at One Call Stadium.
