Read up on how Stags' youngsters have recently fared in their respective loan spells.
Sam Wilson - St. Ives Town
Goalkeeper Sam Wilson has started in all of his games since signing on loan for St Ives Town. Heâs had a tough time of late as his side are going through a rough patch in terms of results, however Wilson has helped keep the scorelines a lot lower than they potentially could have been due to his work in goal. Wilson will look to maintain a clean sheet and assist the Ives in their next game on Saturday 17 November against Halesowen Town, who sit two places above them in the league.
Teddy Bloor - Frickley Athletic
Defender Teddy Bloor played 90 minutes on his debut for his loan club Frickley Athletic in a 1-0 loss to Gresley. He slotted right into the first team lineup and played an additional 90 minutes in the following match against Lincoln United, however Bloorâs time was cut short in his third competitive match for the West Yorkshire side as he was carried off after picking up a knock mid-game. Although, he still managed to help his side to a 2-1 victory over Spalding United.
Aiden Walker - Coalville Town
Despite some tough games, defender Aiden Walker has been named in the starting 11 for his last 3 games at his loan club Coalville Town. After a high flying start to the season for the Ravens, Walkerâs team now find themselves near the top of the table in the Southern League Premier Division Central. He played a vital part in his side's 1-1 draw with St Neots this past weekend. Coming up against a dangerous attack, he was unfortunate not to help his side keep a clean sheet after a lucky goal for the visitors put them ahead early on.
Zayn Hakeem - Coalville Town
Forward Zayn Hakeemâs recent loan move to Coalville Town, after spending a recent spell at Basford United, puts him in a team with another Stags' loan player in the form of Walker. Hakeem has been in good form of late, recently helping Coalville move onto the next stage of the Leicestershire Challenge Cup after scoring 2 in a 9-2 thumping against Harborough Town.
Hakeem has also been out of club football this past week on international duty with Antigua U20âs, scoring a hat-trick in their latest game against Sint Maarten.
Henri Wilder - Lewes
Henri Wilder has been making a name for himself of late at his loan club Lewes FC, making his debut appearance in a 2-1 win over Harlow Town last weekend. He was recognised as an âimpressive debutantâ in the following match report provided by the club and created a few chances for the Rooks pushing them up the table into third place.
Following this, Wilder started his next game for the side who unfortunately lost to a last-minute goal from the opposition in a well fought contest. This brought Lewes' winning run to an end but sees them currently sat fifth in the league.
Kane Baldwin - Coleshill Town
Defender Kane Baldwin has maintained his position in his loan squad and started for Coleshill Town FC in their last match against Barwell FC in the Southern League Cup. Unfortunately, Coleshill were eventually knocked out 4-3 on penalties, but it was a solid performance for the Stags' defender, maintaining the clean sheet for his side for the whole 90 minutes.
