What's on in the Sandy Pate Sports Bar this week?

8 May 2018

There's plenty of sport to sink your teeth into this week in the Sandy Pate Sports Bar, as the Premier League season draws to a close, and play-off football gets under way!

TUESDAY - Tonight will see a huge game in the Premier League relegation battle, as 17th placed Swansea City welcome 18th place Southampton to the Liberty Stadium (7.45pm kick-off). Both sides sit on 33 points from 36 games heading into the clash.

WEDNESDAY - We'll stay with the Premier League on Wednesday night, when Chelsea are paid a visit by Huddersfield (7.45pm kick-off), who also need points as they look to secure their top flight status for another season. Our weekly poker night will also take place, which costs just £5 to buy-in! The winner could walk away with a tidy jackpot!

THURSDAY - David Moyes will face up against his former side, as Manchester United travel to the London Stadium to play West Ham (7.45pm kick-off). Our weekly general knowledge quiz will also take place on Thursday, with a jackpot of £537 to be won!

FRIDAY - On Friday evening we'll have play-off football for you, as Derby welcome Fulham for their first leg game at Pride Park (7.45pm kick-off).

SATURDAY - There are three play-off games to enjoy on Saturday, with the first being Scunthorpe vs Rotherham in League One (12.30pm kick-off), followed by the other Championship play-off game, Middlesbrough vs Aston Villa (5.15pm kick-off). The League Two play-off between Coventry and Notts County will then be shown (7.30pm kick-off).

SUNDAY - Sunday's games are to be confirmed, as we will choose the match depending on results around the Premier League over the course of this week.

We will be serving food every day in the Sandy Pate Sports Bar until 9.00pm, with the bar remaining open until late.

There is ample free parking for visitors to take advantage of in the main car park at One Call Stadium, situated outside the Sandy Pate Sports Bar to the rear of the Ian Greaves Stand.

For more information, or to book a table, please call the bar on 01623 482 482 (option 2).
