Paul Digby has today been transferred to Forest Green Rovers for an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year-old made 21 appearances for the Stags in midfield and defensive positions last season following his signing from Ipswich Town.
“Paul has been a pleasure to work with on a daily basis and a great professional,” said manager David Flitcroft.
“He had asked me to pledge that I would give him game-time this season which I was unable to do. He will, however, get that opportunity now with Forest Green Rovers.
“Paul was brought to the club as a midfield player and I do see him as a midfield player and with us bringing in the experienced Neal Bishop during the close season, we’re very competitive in that area.”
“I wish Paul every success in his future career,” added the manager.
The club places on records its thanks to Paul for his endeavours at One Call Stadium and wishes him a prosperous career.
