A strong reserve team is expected to line-up against York City tomorrow at Rainworth Miners Welfare in the Central League (1pm).
Stags’ reserves have only played two games this season in the EFL Central League, due to rescheduling of fixtures as well as Stags’ exploits in the EFL Central League Northern Cup but hope to add to the three points that were secured after a 5-0 beating of tomorrow’s visitors York City at Bootham Crescent in November.
A first-minute strike from right-back Hayden White and braces from striker Jimmy Spencer and midfielder Calum Butcher ensured a comprehensive victory.
Assistant manager Paul Raynor will take charge of proceedings for tomorrow afternoon’s fixture and looks set to field a number of first team players who would benefit with competitive match minutes.
Defenders Zander Diamond, George Taft and Johnny Hunt may feature along with midfielders Jack Thomas, Will Atkinson, Paul Digby and Calum Butcher.
Strikers Lee Angol, Jimmy Spencer and Omari-Sterling-James are also likely to be involved.
Tickets are priced at just £3 for all spectators. Food and beverages are also available.
