Travel guide: Swindon Town

7 February 2018

Stags will travel to the County Ground for the first time since 2007 on Saturday (10 February, 3.00pm kick-off) as we take on Swindon Town in Sky Bet League Two.

The County Ground holds 15,728 spectators and has been home to the Robins since 1896.

Supporters opting to drive to Wiltshire should use the postcode: SN1 2ED. The 146-mile trip should take just under three hours when travelling by car.

Parking for away fans is located within the stadium complex and is priced at £10. There are 12 bays allocated for disabled supporters. Supporters can pay for parking upon arrival at the County Ground, however spaces are extremely limited.

Parking is also available at St Joseph's School on Ocotal Way, just behind the ground. A space at the school costs £5. The postcode for the school is: SN3 3LR.

A train journey from Mansfield to Swindon takes over four hours and requires three changes, at Nottingham, Birmingham New Street and Bristol Parkway.

The only train departing Swindon after the match leaves at 7.37pm and requires use of a bus from Leicester to Nottingham, before being forced to wait for the first train to Mansfield at 5.40am. The cost is £92 for an off-peak return.

The easiest and most cost-effective way of travelling to the match is with the Stags Supporters' Association!

Our supporters' association provide family-friendly away travel to every fixture and prices are as follows:

Amber: £15
Blue members: £20
Non-members: £25

The coach will depart from One Call Stadium car park at 9.30am on the morning of the game. To book your space, please call the SSA's booking hotline on 07967 689597.

Bar71 is the designated bar for away supporters and will be open from 12.00pm on the day of the game. It is located to the rear of the Arkells Stand.

There are also a number of pubs located in the town centre, which are within walking distance of the County Ground.

We have been allocated 600 tickets in the Arkells Stand for the fixture.

Supporters can purchase tickets in person from our ticket office on Quarry Lane, via telephone (01623 482 482) or online from www.stagstickets.co.uk.

It is advised to purchase tickets in advance, however Stags' fans can also pay-on-the-day at the County Ground with no price increase.

On the day purchases can be made at the away ticket booth, and payments are accepted using cash or card.

Prices are as follows:
Adults: £23
Over 65s: £17
Students: £17
Under 21s: £10
Under 18s: £6
Under 11s: £2

Wheelchair users and ambulant disabled supporters are required to purchase a ticket in the relevant age-related category, however they are eligible for a free carer ticket when proof of middle to higher rate disability allowance is provided.

Tickets will be on sale from the ticket office until 3.00pm on Friday 09 February, whilst internet sales will cease at midnight on Thursday 08 February.

The cut-off date for tickets being posted out has now passed.
