Travel guide: Exeter City

14 February 2018

Stags make the long trip to Exeter City in our next Sky Bet League Two away fixture this Saturday (3.00pm kick-off).

The Grecians play their home fixtures at St James Park, a ground which currently holds 6,087 spectators due to the ongoing redevelopment work.

The old Grandstand is being renovated as part of a £3.5m project which started in October 2017.

The 225-mile journey to Exeter should take around four hours for Stags' fans travelling by car from Mansfield and for directions to the stadium, supporters should use the post-code EX4 6QF.

On-site parking is unavailable at St James Park, whilst residential streets around the ground are mostly reserved for permit holders only.

There is the King William Street car park (NCP) or the car parks just off Western Way on Parr Street, Belmont, Belgrave Road and Bampfylde Street car park and the Triangle car park (accessed from Clifton Road). These are all within a five-ten minute walk of St James Park.

The train journey from Mansfield to Exeter St David's takes just over five hours and requires two changes. The only train after the match departs at 5.23pm and will arrive at Mansfield at 10.42pm. The cost is £121.40 for a return ticket.

Our official supporters' club, the Stags Supporters' Association will be providing family-friendly coach travel to the match and you can join them!

Leaving the One Call Stadium car park at 7.45am on the morning of the game, you can hop on the affordable coach at the following prices:

Amber members: £15
Blue members: £20
Non-members: £25

To secure your space on the coach, please call the SSA's booking hotline on 07967 689597.

Away supporters will be welcomed into the Centre Spot bar to enjoy pre-match food and drink. The bar is located in the building behind the IP Office Main Stand.

We received 350 tickets for the clash, situated in the IP Office Stand. Please note: this is our full allocation for the fixture due to the redevelopment of the Grecians' stadium.

If any of our 350 tickets are unsold, these will be available to purchase on the day for an additional £1.

Tickets are available to purchase in advance from our ticket office on Quarry Lane in person, via telephone (01623 482482) or online from www.stagstickets.co.uk.
