Stags under-18s' first home league game of the new season sees them welcome Burton Albion under-18s to Brooksby Melton College this Friday (12pm kick-off).
There has been plenty of excitement surrounding the Stags' youth side, led by manager John Dempster, as they continue their pursuit of an almost unprecedented fourth successive EFL Youth Alliance League Title.
Dempster's side recorded a 1-1 draw away to Bradford City under-18s on the opening day of the campaign at Rawdon Meadows last week, with winger Riley O'Sullivan netting for the amber and blue in the second-half.
Friday's opponents, like the Stags, came away with a point from their first league encounter with a 2-2 draw away to Hartlepool United U18s.
Both sides will be keen to pick up their first three points of the new season, meaning this match promises to be an enticing affair.
