Travel Guide: Stevenage vs Stags

10 April 2018

Stags make the trip to Stevenage on Tuesday evening (7.45pm kick-off), for our next away fixture in Sky Bet League Two. Going to the game? Here's your comprehensive travel guide ahead of the clash...

We were originally meant to make the trip down to Hertfordshire on Saturday 03 March, but the game was postponed due to a frozen pitch. Any tickets bought for the original date will still be valid for this fixture.

Stevenage play their matches at the Lamex Stadium, which currently holds a capacity of 6,722, including 3,142 seats.

The 117-mile journey should take approximately two hours and 20 minutes by car. The postcode for the ground is SG2 8RH.

Alternatively, the Stags’ Supporters Association will be providing family-friendly coach travel to the Lamex Stadium. Prices are as follows:

Amber Members £15
Blue Members £20
Non-members £25

The coach will depart at 3.00pm from One Call Stadium car park. To book your seat, please call the SSA hotline on 07967 689597.

Away supporters are welcome to enjoy a drink in the Broadhill Suite prior to a game. The bar opens at 6pm ahead of the match, and also serves food.

The allocation for Stags’ fans stands at 600, located in the South Stand. Stags’ supporters will enter the stadium through gates 17-19.

Tickets are now only available to buy from the Lamex Stadium, therefore there is a £3 increase in all ticket categories. The prices of tickets from the Lamex Stadium are:

Adults £24
Seniors (65+) £21
Under-22 £16
Under-16 £12
Under-12 £10
Family of three (one adult, two U16s) £38
Family of four (two adults, two U16s) £53

Disabled supporters not requiring a wheelchair should contact Stags on 01623 482482.

Disabled supporters who require a wheelchair should contact Stevenage 01438 223223 to purchase tickets.

Ambulant disabled supporters are required to purchase a ticket in the relevant age-related category, with a carer ticket issued free of charge if middle to higher rate disability allowance is provided.
