What's on in the Sandy Pate Sports Bar?

30 April 2018

The Sandy Pate Sports Bar is the perfect place to spend your evenings, with plenty of sport to be shown over the week!

Here's a full schedule of what you can expect to see in an action-packed week of sport!

MONDAY - On Monday the bar will show the Premier League clash between Spurs and Watford (8.00pm kick-off), as Mauricio Pochettino's side look to tighten their grip on a top-four finish.

TUESDAY - Tuesday will see European heavyweights Real Madrid and Bayern Munich go head-to-head at the Santiago Bernabeu for a spot in the Champions League final (7.45pm kick-off). Bayern have plenty to do, with Madrid holding a 2-1 lead heading into the tie.

WEDNESDAY - On Wednesday we'll have more Champions League action, as Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool head to Rome for their second-leg match (7.45pm kick-off). The Reds have a sizeable 5-2 lead over Roma, but will remain wary, as the Italian club overturned a 4-1 lead to knock out Barcelona in the previous round. Our weekly poker night will also take place, which costs just £5 to buy-in! The winner could walk away with a tidy jackpot!

THURSDAY - Atlético Madrid welcome Arsenal to Spain for their Europa League semi-final on Thursday (8.05pm kick-off). The Gunners have a tough task on their hands, as despite taking the lead in the reverse leg at the Emirates through Alexandre Lacazette, conceded a late precious away goal to French striker Antoine Griezmann. Our weekly general knowledge quiz will also take place on Thursday, with a jackpot of £537 to be won!

FRIDAY - We have Friday night football in store for you this week, as Brighton welcome José Mourinho and Manchester United to the Amex Stadium for an 8.00pm kick-off. A win for Chris Hughton's side would all but confirm their Premier League status for another season.

SATURDAY - On Saturday we stay with Premier League action, as Everton welcome Southampton to Goodison Park (5.30pm kick-off). A win is vital for Mark Hughes' relegation-threatened side, as they find themselves a point from safety with three to play.

SUNDAY - We have two games on Sunday, starting with the 1.30pm kick-off between Manchester City and Huddersfield. Huddersfield are desperate for points, being only three points above the drop, but have a huge task on their hands against Pep Guardiola's title-winning side. At 4.30pm, we have the huge match between Chelsea and Liverpool at Stamford Bridge to wrap up an action-packed week of sport.

We will be serving food every day in the Sandy Pate Sports Bar until 9.00pm, with the bar remaining open until late.

There is ample free parking for visitors to take advantage of in the main car park at One Call Stadium, situated outside the Sandy Pate Sports Bar to the rear of the Ian Greaves Stand.

For more information, or to book a table, please call the bar on 01623 482 482 (option 2).
