Match Preview: Yeovil Town vs Stags

27 April 2018

Stags make the 212-mile journey to Huish Park on Saturday to face Yeovil Town, in our final league away fixture of the season. Here’s all you need to know ahead of the clash…

Stags’ boss David Flitcroft has confirmed that the trio of Zander Diamond, Ricky Miller and Hayden White will all struggle to make the squad for this weekend’s game.

Defender David Mirfin will also miss out as he continues his recovery from knee surgery.

For Yeovil, Dan Alfei and James Bailey are doubts for the game due to knee injuries, with James Gray (ankle) and Ryan Dickson (ankle) also remaining sidelined. Sam Surridge, who has a hamstring problem, could return to the Glovers’ squad for the game.

The last time we played Yeovil Town was at One Call Stadium back in December last year. The game was a tight affair, and finished goalless.

The referee for this weekend’s game will be Charles Breakspear, assisted by Michael Webb and Simon Shaw. The fourth official will be Samuel Ogles.

The last time Mr. Breakspear took charge of a Stags’ game was our 1-1 draw away to Newport County back in October. Danny Rose scored the Stags’ goal with a 22nd minute strike.

Stags have been allocated 540 tickets for the game, 290 in the Screwfix Community Stand (seated) and 250 in the Radio Cabs Stand (uncovered terrace).

Full ticket information can be found here.

There are several pubs located around Huish Park, with the nearest being The Airfield Tavern, The Bell and The Arrow, which are all around a quarter-of-a-mile from the ground. There are snack bars situated in the away terrace area, where pies, sweets and drinks can be purchased.

Yeovil have installed a temporary marquee bar on the far side of the all-weather pitch at Huish Park. It can be located opposite the corner of the Tamburino Stand and the Thatchers Terrace. Away supporters will be catered for here before the match but not after.

Car parking is available at Huish Park for £3 per car on both sides of the ground, available on a first come, first served basis. Follow the signs from the A303 and Asda Roundabout. Blue Badge holders are advised to contact Sharon Swain on 07790 375250 prior to matchday to enquire about accessible parking bay availability.
