7 September 2017

Supporters who are attending this Saturday's Sky Bet League Two clash with Grimsby Town (1.00pm kick-off) can purchase a copy of The Stag for just £3!

The Stag is our award-winning matchday magazine and it is packed full of content for both home and away fans!

This week, creative midfielder Will Atkinson is the subject of the main interview as he recalls his first spell with the Stags 10 years ago and explains what he hopes to achieve this season.

Readers can go behind-the-scenes at Carlisle United and see some of the unseen photos from last week's draw, whilst also browsing the best action shots from Brunton Park.

Left-back Louis Danquah answers The Stag's questions in the under 21s' profile, whilst midfielder Harry Bircumshaw reveals all about his under 18s' team-mates.

Sticking with the academy, John Dempster explains why he believes his side have produced increased levels of performance over the past fortnight, whilst assistant manager Paul Raynor speaks exclusively to The Stag after Tuesday's Central League fixture with Rotherham United.

And there's plenty for Grimsby fans to get their teeth stuck into as well, with former Mariners' and Stags' midfielder Craig Disley outlining his best XI during his time at the two clubs.

Football historian Leigh Edwards profiles the Grimsby side from the 1997/98 play-off winners in Back to the Future.

Do any visiting fans remember Ivano Bonetti? Read about him, and some little known Grimsby facts in The Lowdown on page 54.

Furthermore, Stags' boss Steve Evans will be signing five copies of The Stag and if you happen to purchase one of the lucky copies, you'll win two tickets to our game against Wycombe Wanderers on Tuesday!

All you have to do is take your copy of The Stag to the ticket office on Quarry Lane, where the signature will be verified and you will be given your complimentary tickets.

The Stag can be purchased for just £3 from our ticket office on Quarry Lane, the merchandise stall outside the Sandy Pate Sports Bar, or from any of our mobile sellers.
