Champions League football returns in the Sandy Pate Sports Bar!

11 September 2017

This week marks the return of the UEFA Champions League and there's no better place to watch the competition get underway than the Sandy Pate Sports Bar!

Before the European action begins, the Premier League clash between West Ham and Huddersfield will be shown on MONDAY from 8.00pm. Pressure is mounting on Hammers' boss Slaven Bilic after an indifferent start to the season and they will be hoping for a positive result against the Terriers, who have enjoyed an excellent start to the season.

Then on TUESDAY, Manchester United make their return to the Champions League. The Red Devils won a spot in this year's competition thanks to their Europa League victory last season and they'll welcome Basel to Old Trafford at 7.45pm.

There's a huge Champions League double-header on WEDNESDAY as Liverpool host Sevilla at Anfield and Tottenham Hotspur welcome Borussia Dortmund to Wembley Stadium. Both games will be shown LIVE in the Sandy Pate Sports Bar from 7.45pm.

Ronald Koeman's Everton begin their Europa League campaign on THURSDAY (6.00pm kick-off), whilst Arsenal begin their European journey in UEFA's secondary competition for the first time since the 1997-98 season after finishing fifth last year. The Gunners host German side FC Cologne at The Emirates (8.05pm kick-off) and it'll be shown LIVE in the bar.

Then the domestic action returns on FRIDAY when AFC Bournemouth welcome Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League. The Cherries are still looking for their first victory of the campaign, whilst Chris Hughton's Seagulls will be aiming to build on their 3-1 win over West Bromwich Albion.

The Sandy Pate Sports Bar is open every day and will be serving food until 9.00pm.
