The third round of the Carabao Cup gets underway this week and there will be two live games shown in the Sandy Pate Sports Bar!
On TUESDAY, former Premier League champions Leicester City welcome Liverpool to the King Power Stadium as they look to progress in the competition. Craig Shakespeare's side aren't competing in Europe this season so will be focussing on the domestic cups to win some silverware. The match will kick-off at 7.45pm and it'll be LIVE in the Sandy Pate Sports Bar.
Then on WEDNESDAY, Nigel Clough will take his Burton Albion side to Old Trafford to face giants Manchester United. The Brewers have previously faced United – when Sir Alex Ferguson was in charge – and they will be going there full of confidence after an excellent win over Fulham on Saturday. We'll be showing the clash LIVE from 8.00pm.
Also at 8pm on WEDNESDAY is our weekly poker night. It's just £5 to buy-in and you could walk away with a tidy little profit if you play your cards right!
Our weekly quiz night will take place on THURSDAY from 8pm in the Sandy Pate Sports Bar. Stags Supporters' Association committee member Steve Danby will be the quizmaster and you could win a meal voucher if you triumph in the quiz!
The weekend's EFL action begins on FRIDAY as Forest Green Rovers host Swindon Town at 7.45pm. Rovers are currently above the relegation zone on goals scored, whilst now sit eighth.
