Saturday's edition of our award-winning matchday magazine The Stag features an in-depth interview with bustling winger Alex MacDonald.

Stags take on Exeter City on Saturday (28 October, 3.00pm) and in The Stag, the former Oxford United man speaks about his determination to enjoy a successful season at One Call Stadium, amongst other topics. Turn to page 22 to read more from the former Burnley trainee.

Chairman John Radford pens his message to supporters on page five, whilst manager Steve Evans reflects on the previous trio of away matches on page six.

Supporters can turn to page 13 to find out more about our Emirates FA Cup first round opponents Shaw Lane AFC in The Lowdown, whilst all ticketing and travel information for the game against the Ducks and our away match against Coventry City in the Travel Guide on pages 15 and 17.

Under 21s' frontman Tyler Blake answers The Stag's questions on 31, whilst Under 18s' defender Steve Johnson dishes the dirt on his team-mates on page 33.

Read about the latest developments in Football in the Community on page 44 and find out midfielder Will Atkinson's likes and dislikes in the Stags' A-Z on page 48.

The final first round match of our supporters' quiz Going For Gold takes place on 50; will it be Robert Frost or Sam Binch who clinches the final round two spot? You'll have to purchase a copy of The Stag to find out!

Our nine-page dossier on our visitors Exeter City begins on page 53, including former Grecians' midfielder Bertie Cozic, who names his best XI from his time at St James Park.

Delve into the archives from page 66 onwards as we take a look at previously unseen photographs of One Call Stadium, pictures from down the years and a profile of former goalkeeper Kevin Hitchcock in Stags in Shot.

Furthermore, manager Steve Evans will be signing five limited edition copies of The Stag and if you're a recipient of one of the lucky copies, you'll win two FREE tickets to our next home game against Stevenage.

All you have to do is take your copy of The Stag to our ticket office on Quarry Lane and our staff will verify the signature and present you with the tickets.

The Stag can be purchased for just £3 from our ticket office, the merchandise stall or any of our mobile magazine vendors.
