Watch Real Madrid v Spurs in Sports Bar this week!

16 October 2017

After the international break came to an end last week, the Champions League returns over the next few days and there are some mouth-watering ties which will be shown LIVE in the Sandy Pate Sports Bar.

With no European football to act as a distraction this season, 2015/16 Premier League champions Leicester City are in action on MONDAY when they welcome West Bromwich Albion to the King Power Stadium (8.00pm kick-off).

Neither side have really hit top gear thus far, with the Foxes currently occupying a spot in the bottom three, whilst West Brom are 11th, on nine points.

Then on TUESDAY, matchday three of the Champions League gets underway! The stand-out tie of this round of fixtures is undoubtedly the clash between holders Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur at the Bernabeu.

The match will kick-off at 7.45pm on TUESDAY; how will Mauricio Pochettino's men cope with their 'baptism', as the Argentine put it whilst speaking to Spanish news site AS recently?

At the same time, the Sandy Pate Sports Bar will be showing the Champions League match between Manchester City and Napoli from the Etihad. Also kicking off at 7.45pm, Pep Guardiola's side will be looking to extend their excellent run of form after scoring seven goals at the weekend.

Moving on to WEDNESDAY and the big games continue! Jose Mourinho will return to his homeland as he takes his Manchester United side to face Benfica. The Red Devils have got a 100 percent record so far in Group A and they face a Benfica side who are yet to record a point in this year's competition.

Meanwhile, following their last-gasp victory over Atletico Madrid on Matchday Two, Premier League champions Chelsea host Roma at Stamford Bridge. The Blues will be aiming to maintain their two-point lead at the top of the group. Both the Chelsea match and the Manchester United game will kick-off at 7.45pm.

Our weekly poker night also takes place on WEDNESDAY, which costs just £5 to buy in!

The Europa League then restarts on THURSDAY and the English representatives will kick-off at 6.05pm and 8.00pm, respectively.
Serbian side Red Star Belgrade host Arsenal in the earlier game, before Ronald Koeman's Everton host Lyon at 8.05pm.

Also on THURSDAY, our weekly quiz night takes place from 8.00pm! With the opportunity to win a host of prizes, come and give it a go!

Then the Premier League action returns on FRIDAY when West Ham United host Brighton & Hove Albion at the London Stadium.

Both sides are currently on eight Premier League points and the game will kick-off at 8.00pm.

Between 6pm and 9pm on FRIDAY, visitors to the bar can purchase a bottle of Prosecco for just £10 as part of our Fizz Friday offer!

The Sandy Pate Sports Bar is located to the rear of the Ian Greaves Stand with plenty of free parking in the main car park at One Call Stadium.
