Travel guide: Newport County

19 October 2017

Stags travel to Wales to face Newport County at Rodney Parade in Sky Bet League Two on Saturday (3.00pm kick-off) in the second of three successive away fixtures.

A five-minute walk from the away turnstiles is the Excelsior Club, which is located on Corporation Road. This is the most convenient place for travelling Stags' fans to enjoy a pre-match beverage.

The clubhouse inside the ground also allows home and away fans to enjoy a drink both before and after the game.

The postcode required for the fixture against Newport is: NP19 0UU.

Parking is unavailable at Rodney Parade for visiting supporters. Travelling supporters are recommended to use one of the city centre car parks, such as the one at Kingsway Shopping Centre, which costs £2 for five hours.

The train journey from Mansfield to Newport will take approximately four hours and will require one change, at Nottingham. The price of a return ticket is £76.40 if purchased in advance.
