Club captain and central defender Zander Diamond has been named as the Stags' fans' Player of the Month for November.
The 32-year-old Scot made his comeback from injury in our Checkatrade Trophy victory over Everton at the end of October, and has since excelled in the heart of the Stags' defence.
After opening his club account against the Toffees, Diamond found the back of the net on a further three occasions in November.
The former Northampton Town man scored a brace in our 4-0 win over Port Vale, before heading home an 88th-minute equaliser in our local derby against Chesterfield last Saturday.
In addition to his goalscoring exploits, Diamond helped keep three consecutive clean sheets as Stags went on a run of three wins in a row against Coventry City, Stevenage and Vale.
The Alexandria-born defender received 33 percent of the overall vote, whilst winger Alex MacDonald came second with 16 percent and striker Kane Hemmings finished third with 15 percent.
