Dashing winger scoops Player of the Month gong

2 November 2017

Flying wingman CJ Hamilton has been voted as the supporters' Player of the Month for October.

The 22-year-old only made three appearances in October, but made a huge impression with some stand-out performances.

The Harrow-born wideman scored his first goal for the club in our 2-1 Checkatrade Trophy victory against Notts County before displaying arguably his best performance in Stags' colours against Exeter City last week.

The lightening-quick winger was a constant menace for the Grecians' defence throughout the afternoon and justified manager Steve Evans' decision to hand him his first Sky Bet League Two start in over two months.

Hamilton, formerly of Sheffield United, received 54 percent of the vote, ahead of striker Danny Rose in second, who got 17 percent, whilst bustling winger Alex MacDonald and defender Krystian Pearce both received seven percent in tied third.

Thank you to everyone who voted.
