Striker is voted as fans' Player of the Month

9 May 2017

Frontman Danny Rose has been voted as the supporters' Player of the Month for April, in a vote which has been taking place on the Stags Wall over the last week.

The former Bury striker received 33 percent of the overall vote following an excellent month.

The 23-year-old was ever-present throughout April and scored one goal as Stags chased down a play-off spot.

He scored the winner in the 1-0 victory away at Stevenage, a result which catapulted Stags to within a point of the top seven.

Rose then went on to score the opener in the final day draw with Crawley Town, before being named as the Directors' Player of the Season at the club's Annual Awards Dinner the following day.

The striker won the supporters' poll on the Stags Wall ahead of defender Krystian Pearce in second, who received 19 percent of the vote, and centre-half Rhys Bennett in third, who claimed 15 percent.

Thank you to everyone who voted on the Stags Wall.
