Have you endorsed the proposed sports facility?

16 March 2017

The club is encouraging supporters and local businesses to endorse a new sports facility at Woburn Lane, Pleasley.

We are encouraging members of the local community to endorse the building of a new sports facility at Woburn Lane, Pleasley, by writing a letter of support to Mansfield Town Football Club at the address below.

The club is of the strong opinion that the new facility would be of great benefit, not only to Mansfield Town Football and its players (including the club’s men/ladies’ first team, U21s, boys/girls academy and Football in the Community), but also to local people, facilitating the opportunity to explore and develop their sporting talents.

The club is also interested in hearing from any groups/teams who wish to express an interest in using the facility.

The new sporting facility would include: a full 3G floodlit pitch, three full-sized grass pitches and a mini pitch.

Furthermore, it is proposed that a Pavilion would be erected to facilitate eight dressing rooms to cater for all age groups.

Moreover, a ‘Main Pavilion’ would also be built and would include a function room, two classrooms, offices and a physio room.

In your letter of endorsement, please state your reasons why such a facility would be of benefit to our community.
