A Sportsman's Evening with Norman Whiteside

3 June 2017

We are pleased to announce that Manchester United and Northern Ireland legend Norman Whiteside will be visiting One Call Stadium for a sportsman's evening later this year.

Doors will open at 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start in the 1861 Suite on Friday 08 September.

Tickets for the event cost £32 per person or £300 for a table of ten, which includes a two-course meal.

Belfast-born, Whiteside played over 250 times for Manchester United over a seven-year spell, winning two FA Cups and a Charity Shield.

The forward became the youngest player ever to play at a World Cup when he broke Pele's record aged 17 years and 41 days when he turned out for Northern Ireland against Yugoslavia in the 1982 World Cup in Spain.

Further to 51-year-old Whiteside taking to the stage, we'll also have a brilliant comedian entertaining the audience, as well as a raffle and an auction.

Local company Ulyett Landscapes Ltd have kindly agreed to sponsor the event.

We're expecting tickets to sell out very quickly for the event, therefore we urge anyone interested to book their tickets as soon as possible.

To purchase your tickets, please call our commercial manager Paul Nyland on 01623 482 482 (option 3) or email sales@mansfieldtown.net.
