The players spoke with sponsors and presented them with a certificate and match shirt. 

David Hinds, sponsor for club captain Lee Collins, praised the event, saying: “It’s good to include supporters [in luncheons like this] and it’s nice for us to actually meet the players we’re sponsoring.

“I can imagine that from the players point of view it’s nice to meet people who are putting something back into the club.”

Head of Russ Moore Accountancy Services, Russell Moore added: “It’s tremendous," said Mr Moore. "It’s a big improvement from days gone by so we’re really happy with the way our sponsorship has gone and how things are going on and off the field.”

Pat Hoban's sponsor, Andrew Edwards, is excited for the final six games of the season in Sky Bet League Two as we aim for a top seven finish.

"There’s probably a bit more to come with some exciting games to come and it’s a toss of a coin really but having been down here for forty years it’s been a good season overall,” said Mr Edwards.

Commercial manager Paul Nyland added: "On behalf of the club, we'd like to thank all of our home & away player sponsors. We hope they all had a great afternoon and look forward to their support of the club next season."
