There's Premier League football, heavyweight boxing, a quiz night and afternoon tea to take advantage of in the Sandy Pate Sports Bar this week!

To start off on MONDAY, Newcastle can seal their promotion straight back up to the Premier League after being relegated last season as they host Preston at St James Park. You can watch it live from kick-off at 7.45pm.

Then on TUESDAY, Premier League leaders Chelsea host Southampton as they look to increase their lead at the top of the table only a couple of days since they secured their place in the FA Cup final, beating second place and fierce rivals Tottenham. We’ll also be showing the game LIVE on our HD screens at 7.45pm.

Next up on WEDNESDAY, Tottenham will be looking for a positive response after losing at Wembley at the weekend when they visit Selhurst Park to take on a revitalised Crystal Palace side. The game will get underway at 7.45pm and you can watch it live in the Sandy Pate Sports Bar.

Our brand new weekly quiz night will begin on THURSDAY from 7.30pm. Covering a range of topics from fun fortunes to general knowledge and sport, there's an array of genres for quizzers to get there teeth stuck in to in the Sandy Pate Sports Bar. Prizes for winning the quiz include tickets for this weekend's fixture against Portsmouth and bottles of wine! Furthermore, there will be the chance to win a cash prize in our game of 'Sticky 13s'.

It’s the big game on THURSDAY night as Manchester City host local rivals Manchester United in a game that will be vital for both teams as they fight for a place in the top four.

United will be going into the game full of confidence after three successive victories and safe in the knowledge that City crashed out the FA Cup on Sunday against Arsenal. The big game is live from 7.45pm and you can watch it live at the Sandy Pate Sports Bar.

Then to conclude a week of fantastic sports it’s the massive fight between Anthony Joshua and Wladimir Klitschko on SATURDAY night. Joshua goes into the fight as favourite to defend his IBF Heavyweight title but will know it won’t be easy against the vastly experienced Klitschko. The undercard gets underway from 6pm and you can watch it live at the Sandy Pate Sports Bar.

We will also offer afternoon tea for two every day of the week. Enjoy a selection of hand cut sandwiches, cream filled cakes, scones with jam and cream and a pot of tea for £15, or add Prosecco for £25. Bookings must be taken at least 24 hours in advance to enjoy this service.
