Tenacious midfielder is featured in 'The Stag'

22 September 2016

Stags' midfielder Jamie McGuire says he is 'ready to do a job' whenever he is called upon by Adam Murray this season, as he explains in this week's matchday programme.

The Birkenhead-born midfielder is the subject of our feature interview in The Stag for Saturday's Sky Bet League Two clash with Grimsby Town (12.15pm) and he also reveals that the coaching side of the game does interest him, but for now, he's entirely focussed on his playing career.

Elsewhere in The Stag, legendary former full-back Sandy Pate remembers another of his favourite former team-mates - this week it is Welsh winger Dai Jones.

Irish striker Pat Hoban reveals his favourite things, as well as consigning his pet hates into Room 101, whilst under 21s' midfielder Lewis Collins speaks about his footballing memories.

Supporters can read newspaper cuttings from our 1987 Freight Rover Trophy success, and remember a Memorable Match from our 1991-92 promotion-winning campaign.

The Stag is available for just £3 on Saturday from any of our programme vendors, the club shop, the merchandise stall or any of our matchday kiosks.

Furthermore, supporters visiting the Sandy Pate Sports Bar prior to kick-off on Saturday can also purchase a copy of The Stag from behind the bar.
