Stagettes travel to Bedworth this Sunday

22 September 2016

Mansfield Town Ladies will travel to Bedworth United Ladies this Sunday (25 September, 2pm kick-off) in the East Midlands Women's Regional Football League.

Tony Palmer's side will be looking to build on their incredible 10-0 victory over Mansfield Hosiery Mills last week.

Four goals from Androulla Kokkinou, braces from Jemma Meakin and Laura Watton and strikes from Chloe Elphick and Elizabeth Harris secured the victory over Stagettes' local rivals.

Bedworth finished second in the league last season, one place above the Stagettes, and the two sides are the early season front-runners this time around.

The Warwickshire side have a 100 percent record in the league so far this season after a 2-0 opening day success before thrashing Notts County Development 6-1.

The Stagettes currently lead the way with seven points from their opening three games, however Bedworth do possess a game in hand.

Supporters are welcome to watch the match free of charge and the address is as follows:

Miners Welfare Park,
Coventry Road,
