Join us for the World's Biggest Coffee Morning tomorrow (Friday 30 September) in the Sandy Pate Sports Bar.
Stags are again taking part in the annual event in order to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The event started in 1990, when a local fundraising committee decided to hold a coffee morning where people came along to meet and mingle, but donate the cost of their coffee to Macmillan in the process.
The first 'World’s Biggest Coffee Morning' was in 1991, when 2,600 people registered to hold coffee mornings across the country. Since then it has raised over £113 million in total for Macmillan Cancer Support.
There are currently two million people living with cancer in the UK, and every penny raised at the coffee morning is donated directly to helping them.
All we ask is that visitors to the bar bring with them a cake (or cakes!) to the morning, for others to purchase in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
The coffee morning will start at 10am and end at 12pm.
