Domestic football shown all week in Sports Bar!

28 November 2016

After the European football extravaganza last week, the domestic competitions return over the next few days and the Sandy Pate Sports Bar is the ideal place to watch the action.

On MONDAY, early season Championship leaders Huddersfield Town can further cement their play-off spot with a win over struggling Wigan Athletic. We'll be showing the match LIVE in the Sandy Pate Sports Bar from 7.45pm.

The EFL Cup quarter finals begin on TUESDAY and visitors to the bar will be able to watch Liverpool vs Leeds United from 7.45pm. Leeds are currently flying high in fifth in the Championship and now Garry Monk will be looking to add a Premier League scalp to his ever-growing achievements.

Moving on to WEDNESDAY and Manchester United will host West Ham at Old Trafford for the second time in four days (7.45pm kick-off). The Hammers had goalkeeper Darren Randolph to thank for a point on Sunday after he made a string of outstanding saves and they will now be looking to go one better on Wednesday as they aim to dump José Mourinho's men out of the competition.

Our poker night also takes place on WEDNESDAY at 8pm. The buy-in is just £5 and you could be walking away with a tidy little profit at the end of the night!

League action begins again on THURSDAY when Ian Holloway's QPR host Wolverhampton Wanderers from 7.45pm. The R's have won just once since Holloway rejoined the club and the match against struggling Wolves will pit them against another club with a new manager in the shape of Paul Lambert.

The on FRIDAY, Nottingham Forest are the subject of the Friday night game for the second week running as they welcome league leaders Newcaslte to the City Ground (7.45pm kick-off). Again, the match will be shown LIVE on our HD screens in the Sandy Pate Sports Bar.

As always, we'll be serving breakfast between 8am and 11am on FRIDAY, SATURDAY and SUNDAY whilst the main menu is served from 12pm every day.
