Left-back Blair Adams has been voted by Stags’ fans as their ‘Loanee of the Season’.
Taking place on the Stags Wall, Adams picked up 82 percent of the vote, winning the competition comprehensively ahead of striker Mani Dieseruvwe in second with seven percent and right-back Dan Alfei in third with four percent of the vote.
Adams joined the club in October 2015 from local rivals Notts County following the knee injury sustained by Mal Benning in the defeat to Bristol Rovers at One Call Stadium.
After being thrown into the side which defeated Yeovil Town without even training with his new team-mates, the South Shields-born man produced an assured display and slotted into the left-back role with ease.
The Sunderland Academy product was an ever-present during his loan spell, appearing 13 times in Sky Bet League 2 and twice in the Emirates FA Cup.
