Manager Adam Murray today said that he hopes a number of current players will sign for next season before the end of this week.
Talks are ongoing with members of the current squad, which will define our retained list in the forthcoming days.
The manager also revealed that the Stags have already made two bids for two strikers.
Manager Adam Murray said: "This is an area we need to strengthen with particular ingredients to get the best out of what we already have within the team and to add a little more killer instinct, which we feel we lacked in certain games last season.
"We feel that the two players we have tabled bids for will bring this.Â
"We will only take one of these players depending on the value of deal that can be agreed."
