Shearer still hungry for success in 'The Stag'

19 March 2016

Stags’ stopper Scott Shearer has declared that he’s still eager to succeed at the age of 35 in today’s matchday programme, ‘The Stag’.

The custodian is the subject of this week’s big interview, written by journalist Matt Halfpenny.

Supporters will also be able to read seasoned journalist Tim Morriss’ memories of arguably the greatest manager ever to be in charge of the Stags, the late Ian Greaves.

The programme, which is available for just £3 from any of our programme vendors, the ticket office, or the merchandise stall, also includes six pages of information on today’s visitors Portsmouth.

Loanee Colin Daniel answers our ‘What If?’ questions, Chad sports editor John Lomas recalls the time that he had to hot-foot it back from a festival in Shoreham-by-Sea to the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff for the Stags’ play-off final clash with Huddersfield Town in 2004, plus much more!

‘The Stag’ is available from the ticket office on Quarry Lane, the merchandise stall outside the Ian Greaves Stand or any of our programme vendors, who will be stood around the ground.
