Mansfield Town’s Ladies face local rivals Notts County Development at Kirklington Road on Sunday (2pm kick-off).
Lewis Saxby’s side will be looking to maintain their supreme form with a victory over the mid-table Magpies and it’s sure to be an entertaining game.
The Stagettes triumphed 3-0 in their last outing, the League Cup quarter-final tie with Moulton LFC.
Forward Androulla Kokkinou scored and also picked up the Player of the Match award, and she’ll be looking to put Sunday’s visitors to the sword and have an impact once again in the amber and blue.
Mansfield are second in the East Midlands Women’s Football League, while Notts County are fourth in the division. In Notts’ last match, they threw away a 3-1 half-time lead to eventually lose 6-4 after extra-time against Bedworth United.
The Magpies have won six of their 13 league games, whilst Mansfield have two more victories overall in the 2015-16 campaign.
