Stagettes travel to Rise Park this Sunday

18 February 2016

The Stagettes return to league action this Sunday as they travel to Rise Park Ladies (2pm).

Manager Lewis Saxby’s side take on fifth-placed Rise Park after last weekend’s nervy extra-time cup win against Nottingham Forest Ladies’ Reserves.

The Ladies will be buoyed by the fact they have drawn Premier League opposition in Nottingham Forest Ladies’ first team in a home tie in the semi-final.

Rise Park haven’t won since a 6-0 victory over Grimsby Borough on 03 January and that was their only victory since 18 October. That bad run includes a 1-0 victory for the Stagettes in the reverse league fixture thanks to Jemma Douglas’ strike.

Natasha Murray will be the lady to watch for the Stagettes as she is the only player to have scored more than two goals for Rise Park this season. She’s bagged three goals in nine appearances so far this year with two of those goals coming in the 6-0 victory over Grimsby back in January.

The address for the fixture is as follows:
Eagle Valley
Oxton Road,
NG5 8PS
