Stags' skipper Lee Collins will be the next guest in our 'An Evening with' series, tonight at 7.30pm in the Sandy Pate Sports Bar.
After becoming injured days before the beginning of the 2015-16 season, Collins had to be patient for his chance to claim a place in the Stags' starting XI, making his full Sky Bet League 2 debut for the club in the 0-0 draw with Plymouth Argyle in September.
Following the departure of Nicky Hunt to Leyton Orient in January, Collins was handed the captain's armband by manager Adam Murray and has become a mainstay in the Stags' side.Â
Showing his versatility by playing in any position across the back four, as well as defensive midfield, the former Northampton Town man has proved to be a valuable member of Murray's squad.
The captain will chat with host Mark Stevenson in the first half of the show, before the evening's audi3ence are invited to ask questions in the second period.
There will also be the opportunity to win Sandy Pate Sports Bar meal vouchers in a head-to-head quiz.Â
The Sandy Pate Sports Bar is located at the back of the Ian Greaves Stand at One Call Stadium, with plenty of free parking.
