Plenty of action in Sandy Pate Sports Bar this week

12 April 2016

The Sandy Pate Sports Bar is set for an action-packed week of live football and supporters are invited to come and enjoy the atmosphere.

Supporters visiting the bar on TUESDAY can enjoy a delicious burger and a pint deal, priced at just £5.95. Furthermore, Manchester City host PSG in the Champions League quarter-final second-leg at the Etihad Stadium (7.45pm), with the tie finely poised at 2-2.

WEDNESDAY plays host to our poker night – like every day this week, it will be free entry. Meanwhile, there’s Emirates FA Cup action as West Ham play the last ever FA Cup clash at the Boleyn Ground as they host Manchester United in the quarter final replay (7pm).

On THURSDAY, there will be a reward for the loyalty of our ardent fans, as the club will make a cash draw in the bar. A huge £700 can be won this week so make sure you make a visit!

A season ticket number will be picked at THREE RANDOM TIMES between the hours of 7pm and 9pm every Thursday. To be in with a chance of winning the cash prize, season ticket holders must be present in the bar with their season ticket card.

And the fantastic football continues as there’s Europa League action with Liverpool hosting Borussia Dortmund at Anfield (8.05pm). Jurgen Klopp’s men will be looking to take advantage of his side’s away goal with the tie standing at 1-1.

Supporters are reminded that breakfast will be served on FRIDAY from 8am-11am. There’s bacon rolls or full English breakfasts plus many more options just minutes away from your taste buds!

Also on FRIDAY, there will be an entertaining disco and karaoke night at 9pm which is sure to bring in the crowds once again. Meanwhile, mid-table Wolverhampton Wanderers travel to take on Hull City who are badly out of form in the race for promotion from the Championship, and that game is on Sky Sports at 7.45pm.

On SATURDAY, the bar will NOT be serving the usual full breakfast menu due to the vast amount of supporters expected to attend One Call Stadium for our match against Notts County.

The Sandy Pate Sports Bar will open at 9.30am with bacon cobs being made available until kick-off. Please note that the Sandy Pate Sports Bar is open to home fans ONLY on matchday due to capacity restrictions.

The Bar is located at the back of the Ian Greaves Stand. Parking for all attendees is FREE.
