Stags’ pair Matt Green and Malvind Benning have been named in the Football League Paper’s Team of the Day in League 2 for their performances in Saturday’s 5-0 rout against Notts County.
Striker Green grabbed a goal in each half to take his tally up to 16 for the season, whilst left-back Benning was part of the defensive unit that kept an impressive clean sheet despite the aerial endeavours of the Magpies.
