Mansfield Town’s youth team embark on their first Football League Youth Alliance away game of the season today against Rotherham United (11am).
After triumphing over Grimsby in the League Cup last week on penalties, the young Stags will be looking to continue their unbeaten start to the season. The opening set of fixtures has seen them defeat local rivals Chesterfield 3-1 and draw 1-1 with Lincoln City on the opening day.
John Dempster’s side have no injury worries ahead of the contest and will be looking to make a good start to a tough September fixture list which also includes away trips to Scunthorpe United and Bradford City.
