Defender Liam Marsden has today joined National League outfit Guiseley on a one month loan deal.
The 20-year-old, who has found first team opportunities limited this season at One Call Stadium, is expected to gain vital match minutes and senior experience with The Lions.
Guiseley currently lie in 18th position in the National League and will face Halifax Town in the FA Cup tomorrow.
"It is an excellent level of football for Liam to go and get some game time," said Stags' boss Adam Murray.
"Liam trains as a true professional day-in day-out.
"It's important that he gets minutes under his belt. Training as hard as Liam does, after a period of time it can become demoralising if you don't have a game at the end of the week.
"Liam has lots of potential and this loan spell will be vital to his development," he added.
