Mansfield Town’s youth team face a trip to local rivals Notts County in Saturday’s Football League Youth Alliance fixture (11am).
The Stags go into the game on the back of their comfortable 3-0 FA Youth Cup win over Cambridge City on Monday night and will now be looking to get back to winning ways in the league after being held to a 2-2 draw by Hartlepool United last week.
County on the other hand were knocked out of the Youth Alliance League Cup this week at the hands of Wigan Athletic, losing 3-0 in Greater Manchester.
A few days previous to that loss, they safely progressed through to the second round of the FA Youth Cup with a 2-0 win over Northampton Town.
John Dempster’s side came out of Monday’s cup tie unscathed, meaning that the former Stags’ captain has a fully-fit squad to choose from. However long-term absentees Devante Reittie, Tom Slone and Adam Bishop will all still miss out. Recent signing Tyler Johal is available again after being cup-tied for Monday’s game against the Lilywhites.
Notts County’s youth team play their home matches at Arnold Town's Eagle Valley Stadium. The address is as follows:

Oxton Road,
