Seven teenagers in Stags’ starting XI. Hearn named amongst the subs.
A youthful second-string will take on Rotherham United in this afternoon’s Final Third Development League (East Division) encounter.
The big story is that frontman Liam Hearn (pictured) is named amongst the substitutes – and is expected to feature at some point as he returns from a seven-and-a-half month spell on the sidelines with a knee injury.
Those will start in South Yorkshire include goalkeeper Sascha Studer, right-back Liam Marsden and striker Alex Fisher.
Trialist Mitchell Rose also starts for the second reserve team match in succession.
