Ladies team suffer heavy defeat at the hands of Loughborough Foxes.
Our ladies team suffered their biggest defeat of the season as they crashed to a bitterly disappointing 8-1 defeat away to Loughborough Foxes on Sunday afternoon.
The Stagettes were 4-0 down at half-time as Emma Pilling (2), Paige Crossman and Anna Renken all found the target for the rampant hosts.
Hannah Bodle pulled a goal back shortly after the re-start, but the goals continued to flow for Loughborough as Renken, Lauren Struszczak, Victoria Brackenbury and Harriet Simes inflicted further damage.
The Stagettes will be hoping for much better fortunes when they take on local rivals Radcliffe Olympic in the Nottinghamshire County Cup final on Tuesday evening.
