Left-back Callum Elder’s loan with us from Premier League side Leicester City has been extended by a further month.

The 20-year-old has featured on 11 occasions since joining us and his looping long-throws helped us to record victories in our recent games against Newport County and Dagenham & Redbridge.

“Callum has been excellent in every period of his loan so far,” said manager Adam Murray. “He’s somebody who I believe will go on and play at a much higher level.

“We’ve obviously thanked Leicester in previous months [for allowing him to stay] and we do so again because it’s a privilege for us to have somebody of his stature at the club.”

Elder’s loan with us will now expire at midnight on Saturday 11 April.
