Striker sold to East London outfit for undisclosed fee.

Striker Ollie Palmer has put pen-to-paper on a two-year contract with Sky Bet League Two newcomers Leyton Orient after being sold for an undisclosed fee.

The 23-year-old spent two seasons at One Call Stadium and scored seven goals in 64 appearances.

He finished the 2014/15 campaign at Vanarama Premier side Grimsby Town, for whom he made 16 appearances – scoring on eight occasions.

Manager Adam Murray said: β€œWe have come to an agreement with Leyton Orient which we feel is a good deal for the club.

β€œIt was a move which Ollie wished to pursue and overall, we were happy with the deal which was agreed.

β€œWe thank Ollie for his efforts whilst with us and wish him every success for the future,” he added.
