Stags sell striker Palmer to Orient

6 July 2015

Striker sold to East London outfit for undisclosed fee.

Striker Ollie Palmer has put pen-to-paper on a two-year contract with Sky Bet League Two newcomers Leyton Orient after being sold for an undisclosed fee.

The 23-year-old spent two seasons at One Call Stadium and scored seven goals in 64 appearances.

He finished the 2014/15 campaign at Vanarama Premier side Grimsby Town, for whom he made 16 appearances – scoring on eight occasions.

Manager Adam Murray said: “We have come to an agreement with Leyton Orient which we feel is a good deal for the club.

“It was a move which Ollie wished to pursue and overall, we were happy with the deal which was agreed.

“We thank Ollie for his efforts whilst with us and wish him every success for the future,” he added.
