New season sees introduction of a smoking area, designed to improve fans’ experience.
We are pleased to announce that following consultation with the Safety Advisory Group (SAG), some smoking areas will be introduced at One Call Stadium for the upcoming season.
These will be located at the rear of the Quarry Lane End (for home fans) and at the rear of the North Stand (for away fans).
The areas will be clearly marked with painted lines and appropriate signage.
This smoking area is provided as a courtesy to supporters and therefore must be used responsibly. Sand buckets for discarded cigarette ends will be provided within the designated area and we ask that supporters use them to avoid the need for additional housekeeping for groundstaff.
The designated smoking area is also for the use of electronic cigarettes. However, supporters should note that electronic cigarettes are not permitted to be used in any other part of the ground.
Any supporter who does not comply with this policy will be ejected from the ground and given an appropriate ban.
Supporters who have season tickets in the Ian Greaves Stand and wish to access the smoking area in the Quarry Lane End will be able to transfer their season ticket to Quarry Lane, if requested in advance of matchday.
