Two games in first week of the New Year for academy stars.
Both our youth team and development squad are in action over the next few days as they resume their season following the festive period.
Tomorrow, Wednesday 07 January, our youth team take on FootballCV Reds in the FCYA (Midland Division). Having won five out of six games in the first half of the season, another victory is needed in this game in order to keep us on course for a title challenge.
This match will be played at Kirklington Road, Rainworth. Kick-Off is at 1.00pm.
On Thursday (08 January), our development squad take on Southwell City in the quarter-finals of the H-K-L North Midlands League Cup. We beat Southwell, 5-1, only a few weeks ago, so many players will be keen to impress again.
This match will be played at the Worksop Van Hire Stadium, Clipstone. Kick-Off is at 7.45pm.
A busy week then concludes on Saturday (10 January) with a trip to Scunthorpe United in the FLYA (North-East Division). It promises to be a tough game against the Iron, who beat us earlier in the campaign and currently sit a few places in the league table.
This match will be played at Gainsborough Trinity F.C., North Street, Gainsborough, DN21 2QW. Kick-Off is at 11.00am.
