Goalkeeper Dimitar Evtimov has today returned to parent club Nottingham Forest after his loan spell at One Call Stadium. The 21-year-old's loan deal in Mansfield will not be renewed after Forest indicated that the Bulgarian shot-stopper may be part of their plans.
Evtimov made ten starts in between the sticks for the club since making the switch from the City Ground in August last year.
Manager Adam Murray said: "Dimi has done himself no harm at all during the games in which he has played here.
"We attempted to extend his loan but unfortunately for us, Forest see him as part of their long-term plans.
"I'd like to thank Forest for allowing him to join us on loan and wish Dimi every success in his future career."
The manager added: "This is an area which we are now looking to strengthen."
