A recap of our new recruits

Five new arrivals. Brown signs permanently and Lambe extends stay.

It’s been a busy old week at One Call Stadium and following the opening of the transfer window, manager Adam Murray has wasted little time in re-shaping his squad.

There have been six new signings in total - four permanently and two youngsters on loan, whilst winger Reggie Lambe has also extended his stay with us until the end of the season.

Here’s a recap of our transfer activity over the last week:

MONDAY

A busy week began with the news that Kieron Freeman, Dimitar Evtimov and Luke Waterfall had returned to their parent clubs following loan spells at One Call Stadium. For more on this, click here.

Meanwhile, Ollie Palmer joined Vanarama Premier promotion hopefuls Grimsby Town on a month-long loan as he bids to gain regular first team football. Click here to see more.

In the afternoon, we pulled off a major coup and fought off competition from several other clubs to sign hot-shot forward Billy Kee on a three-month loan from Scunthorpe United. To read more, click here.


TUESDAY

Although there were no signing on Tuesday, manager Adam Murray revealed that he was in advanced negotiations with an experienced midfielder who could replace him in the team.


WEDNESDAY

Our second summer signing was announced in the form of an experienced midfielder – Ricky Ravenhill on a deal until the end of the season. To read more, click here.


THURSDAY

We announced our fourth signing of the transfer window as Australian left-back Callum Elder swapped the comforts of the King Power Stadium to gain senior experience with us. To read more, click here.

Elsewhere, during his weekly press conference, boss Adam Murray confirmed that the club were in advanced negotiations to sign defender Michael Raynes, who has recently parted company with Oxford United.


FRIDAY

Goalkeeper Adam Smith agreed a one-month loan switch from Premier League Leicester City. To read a full profile on the young shot-stopper, click here.
