Mansfield Town Ladies welcome Kettering to One Call Stadium this Sunday (2pm) after a month without a game.
The Stagettes have been out of action since their comprehensive 5-1 win away at Arnold Town Ladies on 06 December.
The fixtures which were due to follow, against Nettleham and Notts County Development, were postponed due to waterlogged pitches, so the Ladies have been forced to wait for the chance to close the gap at the top.
Lewis Saxby’s side currently sit third in the East Midlands Women’s Football League table, two points behind leaders Bedford and they come up against a Kettering side who have just seven points from their first five games.
The match will take place on the top pitch (next to the 3G pitches) at One Call Stadium on Sunday 03 January at 2pm and entry is free.
