Roome bags hat-trick in thumping 5-0 victory.
Our youth team produced one of their best displays of the season as they cruised to a comfortable three points in the FCYA (Midland Division) with a thumping 5-0 win away at Chasetown this afternoon.
Striker Ollie Roome (pictured) bagged a hat-trick, whilst Tyler Blake and David Jones were also on the score-sheet.Â
It was also a good afternoon for Rory Thomson as he set up four of the five goals. The game also saw the return of Kyle Hempshall, who has been sidelined through injury in recent weeks.
Our young guns’ next game is in the FLYA (North/East Division) when they make the short trip to local rivals Notts County on Saturday.
